Well . . . I kept this post separate from the last ... the previous one was saved in drafts, I didn't get to post it on Friday (self doubt showed up, and I let her win). So . . . then came Sunday, after a long awaited catch up and chai with a friend on Friday afternoon, and Saturday spent making ready my home for guests to come by and enjoy a dvd called "Studio" where a selection of Australian artists were interviewed about their art practice and of course their studio's. It was great by the way, I loved hearing from so many kindred spirits, and gathering a few in my lounge was a delight. Oh... so Sunday... I decided to open up two more dates for my creativitea party / art classes. They're meant to me small, and quaint, and a snippet of this and that, and fun and delicious . . . the idea just makes me smile. And within hours one had completely sold out and the other is half booked out. It's taken me by surprise, but I've always heard it said, follow your heart and great things will come of it . . . so dear ones, I'm following my heart, combining my love of tea and inspiring others with art. Maybe I'll meet you some time, and we'll sip our tea and tell each other what warms our hearts the most about being creative. with love, Denise.
with love,
Denise I've taken quite a liking to taking photo's at every opportunity when I have a fresh cup or pot of tea placed in front of me... the comfort and simple ritual of pouring a cup of tea is never lost on me.
If you'd love to see more... I've made an album simply called "Tea" on my facebook page I've been formulating an idea . . . I've always wanted to combine my love of tea with an art class of my own . . . it's in the wings, I let you know when that's ready to go. Take care, keep warm ... love Denise xo |

Books I Love“There are very few human beings who receive the truth, complete and staggering, by instant illumination. Most of them acquire it fragment by fragment, on a small scale, by successive developments, cellularly, like a laborious mosaic.”
