YOU’D LIKE TO BOOK A COMMISSION?
So, you've seen an artwork by me that has caught your eye.. or touched your heart ... and you'd love something similar to it... but larger... or different colour palette... or with a particular symbol or imagery featured.. or your own mantras or messages hidden within it. I am absolutely open to discussing it.
Things to understand
I only paint commissions in my own style, currently my work favours figures, interiors and loose florals, botanicals and lush landscapes, intuitively layered. I don’t paint pets or photo realistic portraits. You can see recent samples of my work on my instagram @denisedaffaraart
I will consider requests to paint in my original contemporary figurative style - the ladies I paint may have the essence of the people they portray, without being lifelike portraits.
I don’t generally accept commissions for works smaller than 80 x 80cm (31.5 x 31.5 inches). You may make a request for a smaller piece. The finished piece can be packaged professionally and sent, or removed from the stretcher bar and rolled to be sent internationally.
Due to the particular nature of commissions being that they are created with care and dedication to meet with your specifications, they take a lot more time. This may reflect a slightly higher price than you may have seen listed elsewhere.
I do not accept very tight deadlines, my work is created with my best intentions and care. I may be able to give you an estimate of time needed once I understand the scope of work and dependant on prior commitments already in play.

What a wonderful, soulful experience 😊. I commissioned Denise to do a painting in her unique style and to incorporate a few meaningful but subtle ideas of my own. Denise was open to ideas, came to my home to get an idea of where I wanted my painting to be and get a feel of the surroundings and colours.
I absolutely love my Lady of the Sea which just finishes off my bedroom perfectly. 🌻
