Noosa Coastal Walk

Walking along the coastal tracks in Australia is one of the great pleasures of my life. When you wander through the trees and undergrowth, noticing the bird life, the cheeky bush turkeys scurrying about and making their giant nests wherever they please. The glimpses of the ocean are pure ecstasy for the eye and soul, those turquoise blues, deep greens and everything in between bring healing just by transmuting their vast expansive energy.
This piece is different to many of my known works, I think the abstract genre is calling to me quietly, I love this painting, and when I spend time in its presence it whispers to me to make more in a similar way... I'll keep listening.
Making abstract art, seems to me.. to require a more settled space in time, but that may not even be true... maybe I can take to the canvas with all of my chaos, and see what happens!
