A large central lung-like tree canopy with reference to stained glass windows. These rather elegant water birds are much like the Australian swamp hen, but since I grew up in New Zealand I know them as pukeko. The king parrots are rare and special visitors to my back yard, so it felt quite special to capture their essence and have them visiting my tree top here.
